Hey everyone, cortjezter here…I wanted to briefly share a comment and give you an address to send your thoughts, dreams, threats, spam, whatever.
We can’t thank you enough for your support so far. It means a lot, and it’s painful to see a site with such momentum and potential have to take a breather. The site has come a long way in just 4 months, and you’re to thank.
As Deux mentioned, RMC on GoNintendo certainly makes it look easier than it really is, but establishing a complete roster for writers to bring as exhaustive coverage as possible is our goal. So if you’re passionate about the Xbox brand, and have the dedication to spend a few hours a day volunteering on the site, send me a cover letter to prove it: cortjezter@gmail.com

Never! I just wanted to leave a little something for the faithful so that you don’t think that I’m dead. I maybe a dead inside though
Some changes are going to be made around here and we aren’t quite sure what they are yet. Currently our noble friend Cortjezter is trying to find me some help for the site and RMC has seen it fit to put GoneMicrosoft.com on hiatus. I am not happy about this and I would keep it going myself if I could, but it’s not my call (and mediocre coverage of news isn’t what you deserve). Not all of us can be as efficient as RMC and this job has given me a real appreciation for the work he does. Please don’t think that I am giving up because this has been a passion of mine since we’d begun 4 months ago and I am praying that Cort can pull a miracle together (aka: a staff that won’t back out) and RMC let’s me come back to work.
I want to thank all of you for your kindness and support. It is because of you that I kept at it for as long as I did and the enthusiasm that I have seen from many of you really kept me working. But its true - if you like what you do you never work a day. I really like this… and hopefully soon I’ll never have to work a day again
Thanks everyone! I’m sure I’ll see you around GoNintendo.com and hopefully CortJezter will post up on GoneMicrosoft soon to let us know any progress.

Microsoft is putting a lot of its eggs in the indie development basket, announcing during its February keynote at the Game Developers Conference that it will allow games created using its XNA Game Studio development program to be shared with (and sold to) other gamers via Xbox Live. We’ve already seen part of that program in action, via the seven trial games temporarily released following the keynote (while a recently-launched private beta test of the XNA Creators Club is in progress), but Microsoft is also encouraging use of XNA Game Studio with student developers via the newly established Game Development track in its annual Imagine Cup technology competition.

GRID does a brilliant job of balancing the depth of simulation racing with the pure fun of arcade racing, and the result is as intense as it is accessible. There are a few small problems that will hopefully be worked out in the future, but nothing even remotely serious enough to warrant a moment’s pause from racing fans. If you’ve never played a racing game before, this is a good place to start, and if you have, there’s going to be something here that you’ll enjoy. Codemasters is two for two with its racing-game rebranding strategy, and we can’t wait to see what they do with the newly-acquired F1 license.
